SLA is the short form of stereolihoghraphy which is also known as solid free form fabrication.
SLA is very much useful for making the 3D parts which have been generated through computer’s software and by using the high quality and excellent finishing, these 3D parts have been generated within few hours but it depends only on the working of machine i.e. if the machine has high quality features and has been equipped with latest parts then physical form can be easily got within 3 to 4 hours which not only increases the performance of company but also makes company’s goodwill strong.
SLA white is a bright white prototyping plastics which is very much useful in making the 3d objects in real form but this method is too much expensive because it is having the expensive Photo-curable resin which costs more than 800 $/gallon. Moreover, this process involves those types of fumes which need ventilated environment and can be harmful if not properly taken care of. So if you are interested in making your prototypes in reasonable price then it’s better to choose another methods like SLS or polyjet in order to save the money because SLA white method suits to those companies who are having high revenues and who want to get the prototype within one or two days.
