My Parents Sell Used Sun Products
When we went off to college, our parents turned mine and my sister’s rooms into a huge office. They had always wanted a home office and never the space to do it, until we moved out. I went home recently and could not believe how many computer s they have in there.
I called my sister and told her all about it. She said that she knew dad had been buying used sun servers and computers, fixing them, and then reselling them on the internet. They had turned this into a full time business and had retired from their other careers. I had not known any of this, until I heard it from my sister.
I asked mother what kind of money they were making for the used sun computers and servers. She commented that they were making enough money from this venture that they were able to live off of it, and had not even touched their retirement funds yet.
I cannot believe that a retired school teacher and a retired postal worker are making a living selling used sun servers and used sun computers and doing very well at it. They have told me that if I want to learn their business, they would give it to me in about five years when they decide to go and travel the world.
