Seeking Justice for Pro Bono

Not all lawyers are asking for money. For some-they do it out of pity or an overcoming emotion drifted to them to do it. I saw on TV this emotional movie about a poor couple who can not afford a lawyer but needs one for their daughter’s accident. A lawyer walks in their lives and began helping them out—for FREE.

It was a triumphant experience for someone who does not have the knowledge yet they were still given the privilege. My Uncle an attorney in Morehead City NC explains that even some of his highly elite partners would accept PRO BONO. Meaning they are offering their service for free.  Site the case of a ten-year old school girl after being injured in an open factory without any means of protective barrier.

A personal injury attorney was soon hired but the child’s single mother can not afford to do so. Since the lawyer was a father himself and wants justice-he offered his service for them for free instead. The case was resolved out of court after the factory promised to shoulder the hospitalizations and offering some assistance in her school fees. The mother couldn’t be happier and thanked the heavens for the brilliant mind of the lawyer. He was all too humbled but pleased of his accomplishments.
