A Friend that Needed my Help
A friend of mine called me up one day asking for help. She needed to issue some personal checks to pay off some bills however she ran out of checks just that day. She also shared that the bank could not provide her with new ones since it usually has a two week waiting period before the new ones could be issued. I have no contacts in the bank so I really cannot help her expedite the release of the new checks.
I asked her to check online because she might be able to find a website that sells cheap checks. I remembered another friend of ours who was also in the same situation before and she was able to find one. I helped her searched for that particular site that our other friend ordered from. Luckily with the help of search engines, we were able to find it right away. She was so happy when she learned that the checks will be delivered to her in 2 days. Their waiting period was way shorter than the bank and she was even able to choose a nice design to use for her check. Problem is now solved and my friend can now stop worrying.
