My mother had a lot of antique furniture and other household items that she left me when she passed away. Although I love antique items because of their exquisite craftsmanship, my family and I live in a modern style home with little room for those. I sometimes go to bazaars and check out some antique finds to give as gifts. After deciding to keep a few pieces from my mom’s collection, a business idea came to mind. What if I sell some of the pieces and enter into antique items’ buy and sell business?

My husband and I made a checklist of things I needed to have for the business, which included commercial truck insurance. Antique items are delicate, and they need special care. It is important to have the right transportation as well as to have the proper insurance in case of mishaps. I almost gave up after weeks of asking around for ideas on where to get such insurance.

We wanted to have one that is recommended by close friends, which was why we asked around instead of look online. But since no one had an idea, we resorted to the internet. One day, we were able to come across a commercial trucking insurance online.  It was not as hard as we thought—after a short consultation, we managed to get insurance for our first commercial truck. We are so excited to begin our business!
